Highway Maintenance & New ConstructionChallenger 800L and Challenger 1000
The Challenger 800L and 1000 models stand out as the top choices among contractors and the Transport Department. The 950 and 1250 power hammers empower swift and effective work, while the rubber tracks minimise pavement damage. With a 3-man crew, both machines can install an impressive 1500 feet per day.
What sets the 800L and 1000 models apart is their telescopic mast, which provides the convenience of hydraulically lowering the mast for transport and effortlessly raising it upon arrival at the site using the same hydraulic mechanism. This feature truly streamlines operations and enhances productivity.
"How do you decide which model to use? The Challenger 800L can handle 12 ft steel posts and will drive a post into the ground in 15 seconds under normal conditions. On the other hand, the Challenger 1000 can handle a 15 ft post and tougher ground conditions. So, if the site conditions are tough, the Challenger 1000 is the best choice of machine."
Guardrail Post Removal
We want to share some information with you about our Guardrail machines. This amazing equipment comes with a standard post extractor that is specifically designed to effortlessly lift or remove individual posts. Imagine being able to remove guardrail posts regularly with ease - the hydraulic post extractor makes it possible! You can count on this tool to consistently loosen and remove a post within just 10 to 15 seconds throughout the day.
Another fantastic option is to lift the guardrail post after reconstructing the pavement, position the hydraulic post extractor on the post, and lift it up. If you happen to lift it too high, don't worry - ease it back down.
I hope this information is helpful and gets you excited about the capabilities of the Guardrail machine!
